The Longest Day...

Thursday may have been the longest day in recent memory....all because of us youth pastors getting together and planning a community outreach. This is how it went down...

6:15am - Alarm
6:45am - Arrive at high school to setup band/speaker for assembly on "pure fun," making good choices and seeing good consequences.
8:45am - 1st Assembly at the high school
9:55am - 2nd Assembly at the high school (assemblies were in the auditorium...much better atmosphere than the gym).
11:00am - Start to packup
12:30am - Lunch/setup band/speaker at the middle school gym
1:30pm -Dominate other youth pastors and band member in free throw shooting contest (19 out of 20 thank you very much)
2:00pm - Middle School assembly
3:30pm - Pack up
4:15pm - Home quick for power nap
5:00pm - Arrive at local church for Big Event where we can share about Jesus
5:30-7:00pm - Games, Food, Attack Dogs, Illusionists, Army Helicopter and other entertainment
7:00pm-8:00pm - Up front games with prizes such as a Wii and Pacers Tix
8:00-9:00pm - Band/Speaker...Gospel Message
9:00-9:45pm - mingle and interact with youth
10:00pm - Home

....worth it.

And, no I was not the one who picked the event to be on the same day as the start of the NCAA tournament...thankfully, I put my DVR into effect and watched all of Thursday's games and Friday's game on Friday....
