"The pleasure of what we enjoy is lost by wanting more."
-Fortune cookie from P.F. Chang's
How's that for an anti-consumeristic thought?
This could be an easy illustration to attach to a message on greed, self-content, and pretty much any common known stereotype of the American mindset:
-The one with the most toys wins.
-I've got to have the newest "car," "video game," "designer clothes," or "tech gadget."
I love this quote because it is deep...and yet, so simple!
