Lend Your Money this Christmas

Link love to Adam Cramer on this post.

A few weeks ago I blogged about Christmas, Jesus, and Giving $, and have found some other interesting sites as well if you're looking to spread the love this Christmas to people you'll never meet, but actually need real help. Michelle is currently all about this type of Christmas giving, more to come on that later.

Adam blogged about Kiva, an organization that helps you lend money to entrepreneurs around the world. They slowly repay you over time, and I know this isn't a "Christmas idea" persay because you actually get your money back. But, it is still a way to invest in and care for people around the world.

Seems pretty cool. Thoughts?

Hello. It's the first time I read your blog, and I like it! I think that IVA seems a great idea. We are not used to share our benefits with people we don’t know or people that won’t give us something in return. So this is a big chance to defeat our selfishness!
Have a nice weekend.

Mango and Banana : )
